Enjoy Playgrounds

Veterans Park

Veterans Park is the place to be with family and friends on a sunny summer day. It is free with
available restrooms and parking, two well-kept playgrounds, three beach volleyball courts,
two pavilions, fields for picnics and games, a small site to hammock, a one acre pond, a 5K
cross country trail, and a large veterans’ memorial.

EXPLORE Playground and Splashpad

The playground and splashpad located at the Hoover Met Complex are unique because they
are both free to the public and uniquely designed for those with disabilities and mobility issues
to enjoy with others. It has parking, restrooms, a family restroom, charging stations, a play space,
and a fun 15000 by 7000 square-foot splash pad to enjoy.

Hoover Met Climbing Wall

The climbing wall at the Hoover Met Complex is an activity anyone ages 5 and up can enjoy.
Are you celebrating a birthday with friends? Bookings for a party of 10 are $300 with a $20
charge per additional guest, and times are available on Sundays from 11am to 7pm. Group
bookings are also available in 2 hour blocks at the same time. Daily and Monthly pass hours
change due to availability Mondays through Saturdays. You can choose a kid, student, or adult
pass for 60, 90 or 120 minutes at a time. Visit the Hoover Met website to find out more!
